Kevin Modiri is a Partner and heads up the civil litigation team at leading East Midlands law firm, Nelsons. He was appointed a Strategic Advisor to the Board of the East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre in October 2023.

Kevin specialises in UK GDPR compliance, data breach claims and Subject Access Requests. He advises businesses, individuals, and public bodies on their legal obligations in relation to preventing breaches from occurring, limiting any risks, proactively tackling breaches and defending proceedings against alleged breaches. Kevin can also assist with commercial disputes, insolvency, inheritance disputes and defamation claims.

Kevin has almost 20 years’ experience as a lawyer and was previously a Partner and head of litigation and employment at Derby law firm, Bakewells Solicitors. He is also recommended by the independently research publication, The Legal 500.
