Police Protect Network

Welcome to your East Midlands Protect network!

Police Protect Officers are a limited resource and so we work effectively with the EMCRC to prioritise those who are most vulnerable.

Each of the five forces of the East Midlands (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire) have dedicated Cyber Crime units who work collaboratively to protect local businesses against the cyber threat by improving their resilience and providing support.

All our Cyber Crime Units form part of Team Cyber UK to deliver the National Cyber Crime Strategy 2016 – 2021 and support the National Cyber Security Centre to make the East Midlands region a safer place to do business.

Protect Officers are your local point of contact to receive tailored support and guidance relevant to your geographical area and this professional advice can be easily accessed through the East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre as part of all the membership packages.

Having built good working relationships throughout the region, this allows the protect network to share all the best working practices and mitigate any new cyber criminality against companies within the region. This, in turn, can be passed on in real time directly to the members of the EMCRC.
