More and more organisations in the East Midlands are becoming aware of the growing need for cybersecurity as part of their business plan and cyber awareness for their staff. However, many businesses – especially SMEs and those in the third sector – can’t always afford comprehensive training for their team.
With such a huge amount of information available, it can be hard to know where to begin that journey, so The National Cyber Security Centre has responded by launching a new e-learning package called ‘Stay Safe Online: Top Tips for Staff’. Users are able to complete the training online by themselves, or integrate it into their existing online training platform, if they use one.
The training is completely free, takes less than 30 minutes to complete and covers a range of important topics, including how to defend against phishing scams, using strong passwords, securing devices and incident reporting. An amazing resource for businesses of all sizes in the East Midlands region.
